Doing our part, one pint at a time
Eclipse serves up everything you love about ice cream, all while using less water, less land, and less greenhouse gases than conventional dairy. Plus, we rescued a cow along the way.

Meet our Chief Grazing Officer
Honey is a 13-year-old former dairy cow that was adopted by Eclipse on Earth Day 2021. She likes grazing on plants and hanging out with her son Benjamin and other fur-friends. Honey and Benjamin were saved from slaughter and are living out their natural lives at Charlie’s Acres, a farm animal sanctuary based in Sonoma, CA. Read more about Charlie’s Acres’ mission here.

1 Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). According to the FAO, animal agriculture is responsible for 14.5% of global greenhouse gas emissions, contributing significantly to global warming.
2 Based on a life cycle analysis conducted by EcoCart. For greenhouse gas emissions, this analysis examined the emissions associated with the production of each ingredient.
3 Our estimated CO2 emissions savings are based on a comparison of the production process for our ingredients versus conventional dairy alternatives. The greenhouse gas savings were converted into equivalent metrics, using the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Greenhouse Gas Equivalencies Calculator.
4 Based on a life cycle analysis conducted by EcoCart, comparing the raw materials water footprint of our plant-based ice cream to dairy ice cream. This claim reflects the total water saved to date based on our product sales.
